I'm a saxophone player. I just moved to New York to study at the Aaron Copland School of Music with Antonio Hart. Moreover I'm having lessons with eg. John Ellis and Seamus Blake. I'm really getting inspired by this city and checking out a lot of jam sessions and concerts, trying to improve and composing new music. Last year I studied with saxophone-legend Andy Scherrer. In September 09, I finished my studies at the Musikakademie Basel (www.jazz.edu) with a diploma. There, I have studied 3 years with Domenic Landolf ; he is really killing (listen to his records!). Moreover, I had the opportunity to learn from the great Ferdinand Povel for one year at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (www.cva.nl).
I grew up in Bavaria-and come home sometimes to relax or take lessons with some of my heroes; Johannes Enders and Hugo Siegmeth (check them out!).
