The National Tour DJ for MTV & mtvU



Born in Jamaica, this son of a preacher has taken his God given talents and put them to good use around the world with some of the most well known artists in the game today. DJ Legacy, who now calls Atlanta home, is a shining example of what someone can do when they follow their dreams. He has been an inspiration to many up and coming young adults that have been looking to break into the business. Legacy has the ability to entertain and captivate audiences of any size by spinnin’ everything from underground classics to the hottest club record and everything in between during his performances that can only be described as a cross between Kid Kapri and Jazzy Jeff.



In 1996, DJ Legacy, www.djlegacy.com, began a journey to not only make it on the DJ scene but to break through. His crew, the 5 Star Generals, began making a name for themselves on staple Atlanta radio stations and the club circuit. Soon Legacy was being recognized for his individual abilities on the turntables that began earning him national attention. Since the spring of 2005, DJ Legacy has been the National Tour DJ for MTV/mtvU and was featured on MTV’s “Making the Band Season Finale 3 & 4”, “Rock Paper Scissors”, and “Wild’N’Out” and continues to rock yearly MTV special events and tours such as Spring Break, VMA Tour, and Campus Invasion.
