Tneek is an 80's baby and was raised in North London, Edmonton. Music and poetry became the centre of her life from 11 years old.
She first started reciting her own rhymes at family gatherings rapping along to the keyboard her cousin played while the other would beatbox, bang the tables and her brother (ADM) who sang. Having such a close knit family meant she'd spend many summer holidays at her cousins recording in their uncle's studio - this is where it all began!
From 1999, Tneek began performing to the public at local church concerts with her brother ADM, who featured in the first episode of Take Me Out on ITV. Tneek and ADM often performed as a duet (ADM as male vocalist) at many gospel concerts and events.
In 2004, Tneek and ADM joined SoundBwoy in forming the crew 'SoundBwoy Entertainment' and featured on the first Mix CD 'Ill Hype - Studio Sessions' and performed at many clubs and shows. After graduating in her Business Management Degree she completed a University Diploma in Music and Media Management whilst deciding to begin carving a solo career.
Tneek has worked with the likes of Chipmunk, Scorcher, Wretch 32, Double S (Marvell Crew), Darren B, Fenix Ladies, Fugative, Shaun Emmanuel (featured on the remix 'Better Believe It' released by EMI Records), SoundBwoy, Artcha, Jelluzz, Alwayz Recording, LaStarz Productions, Dice Recording nd many others.
Aside from featuring in a video with Soundbwoy Entertainment, Tneek's first music video appearance was on Cassoblax's 'Why You Clocking My Face REMIX' which featured Double S, Dot Rotten, Black the Ripper, Teezy, G Fresh, Flirta D, Boya D, Saskilla, JMC, Cash Bro, Twiss Man, Bumz and Jazzie. Tneek held it down as the only female feature and opened the track with an entrance into the game! She also featured in a D&B music video with Taner called 'My Space' which is available today on iTunes. All 3 videos were aired on channel AKA and Flava TV!
Tneek then went on to shoot a joint 'video' collaboration with Drassick which featured on a few websites such as youclubvideo.com, thegrimereport.blogspot.com and Grimedaily.com.
After all those years of fine tuning and development Tneek no longer wishes to conform to the typical female rapper stereotype and is now working on fresh content that will make a difference to the scene!
