From the streets to the church, TK is making his rounds back to the streets reaching a generation of young people with his upcoming album Soul Hustla. He blazes the stage with a collected swagger and distinctive style that keeps an audience anticipating his next move. With God being his first love and hip- hop second, he decided to erase his negative background by embracing the positive through God and his music. Holy South representative, TK is ready to begin a journey solely dedicated to saving a generation of young people trapped in a life of drugs, gangs, and ‘hood’ mentality.



TK grew up in the streets of Memphis, Tennessee. He understood at an early age the definition of hustling, forcefully growing up with a father addicted to alcohol and drug addicted mother, TK began to search for a way out. He began to participate in various activities that were taking place in his projects. At the age of 16, TK began to write his own raps and later found a love in recording his own music.



In the year of 2003, TK was privileged to meet national recording artist Mr. Del and was blessed to build a phenomenal relationship with him. Mr. Del took him under his wing musically and spiritually, and TK became a member of Mr. Del’s group Holy South.



Soul Hustla which will be released later in the year is an album long over due. TK entitled this album Soul Hustla because he believes strongly in grinding for the kingdom, enriching lives and saving souls. He, being inspired by Mr. Del, is ready to inspire those who are in a place that is familiar to him. “People in the streets believe in God but don’t understand the things of God. I believe I was placed here for those types of people because that’s where I came from. If they see somebody just like them but blessed and living for God, that’s what will minister to them.”
