Thats enough . I think you get the idea. NOW FOR THE BIO BIO BIO BIO BIO.The story begins in the late 80's where Tim Rex begins his experimentation in music as a DJ. Scouring record shops for the latest tracks, he found himself drawn to sounds of Todd Terry and Masters At Work to name a few, but dj-ing would serve only asastepping stone to the next level. In 1992 Tim traded his turntables for a drum machine and keyboard. Another page had turned. Juggling his passion for making music with a rigorous college schedule, Tim meddled with sounds and melodies that amazed most who knew him, for he had no musical background. Knowing he had to prioritize, Tim graduated as a licensed pharmacist in 1995. Yes, you heard right, a "legal drug dealer". "My mind was in my studies but my heart was in the music" says Rex, and in 1997 he dropped his first single "Relentless", which became the record of the summer and can still be heard out in clubs today. A better title could not have been chosen. Riding on this success, Tim followed up with K-otic which actually tripled in record sales, thanks to the "Relentlapella" on the b-side. A stripped down version of horns and percussion that can lift a dance floor out of any doldrum. Tim eventually went on to remix some of the biggest artists of our day, including Donna Summer, Gloria Estefan, and Jennifer Lopez. But his latest venture is a team up with DJ Moody to to remix Relentless, the record that started it all. Adding Veronica on vocals, the record has spent countless weeks on the billboard charts and steady rotation on radio around the country. In early 2006 Tim created Rexhouse Music and with the help of remixers such as Junior Vasquez, Manny Lehman and Eddie Baez to name a few, released Relentless(just a game) as the first single. This was just a natural progression for me", Tim says. "It gives me the freedom to create music how I want and get my hands in the marketing and promotion of it as well. There's a lot of energy in it all which I crave. The risk is high and the profit is low, but im enjoying it and that's what its about." Now in 2006 things have come full circle for Tim Rex, as he has began dj-ing once again. "Its been a long time and I miss it a lot. The production goes hand and hand with dj-ing. For me its become the missing link, and the combination expands my creativity". Well, creativity is something we have come to expect from Mr. Rex, and he doesn't look ready to disappoint!!
