Orlando Florida Rock Band Through You formed in the summer of 2005. Michael Kirkland, Jeremy Morris, Billy Rufrano and brothers Michael and King van den Berg quickly formed a bond and started writing songs that would become their first self-financed EP Silhouette. Released in 2006, Silhouette was recorded with acclaimed producer Steven Haigler (Fuel, Pixies).

The band hit the road hard DIY (do-it-yourself) style in support of Silhouette traversing across the country on a string of headline shows as well as a headline run across Japan wrapping up 2006.

2007 Through You was invited to join the mega North American tour Family Values featuring Rock/Metal legends Korn. 2007 ended with a headline show at the House of Blues Orlando.

2008 ushered in an unexpected line-up change, as lead guitarist and brother Michael van den Berg decided to leave the band. As Through You dealt with the challenges of finding the right guitarist, the band focused their time and energies on new music, individual growth and strengthening their family-like bond.

Enter 2009 and guitarist Sam Detrent, a long time friend of the band as well as a perfect fit to fill the void left by Michael. Not only is Sam a superb guitarist who adds a renewed texture and vibe to the overall sound of the music - as important he is also considered a brother by the band, friends and fans alike. Confident in the lineup and musical direction, the newly ignited Through You started working toward their re-emergence in 2010.

As 2010 has clicked along, Through You has been seen performing around the Southeast, locally sharing the Club Firestone stage with Jimmy's Chicken Shack and in July Through You headlined an inspired set at House of Blues Orlando.

Through You is preparing to release a self-financed/produced record and keep a constant touring schedule.
