Starting back in early 2006, THSM was born into the colossal GIANT, that is the North Carolina music scene. A scene that showcases many well know national hardcore/metal acts, producers, and record labels. Featuring names like Between The Buried and Me, KillWhitneyDead, Bloodjin, He is Legend, Advent, Jamie King, Tragic Hero, Forsaken, and Tribunal Records.
Starting as nothing more than a house band for a small local venue created by their church, Though He Slay Me has pushed and strived to set themselves apart from the stereotype that has been placed on not just Christian hardcore/metal bands, but on Christian music in general. Unlike Most; their approach from the beginning has been focusing less on a “Music Career”, and more on making good/unique music that they can be passionate about regardless of where it takes them, and sharing a love for Jesus Christ without shoving it down the throats of the masses. Sharing their beliefs and showing His love through their actions and music is their goal.
