Kühl

Music has been Kühls most important hobby since he was 10 years old. He played at small bars and clubs in 1986, and his sets consisted of hip hop, funky and soul music beside the current hits until 1995. Kühl began to deal with house music in 1993, and from that time on he has played at every significant clubs in Hungary. He span the wheels on the first Hungarian organized truck at the 1997 Love Parade in Berlin, Germany. At the hungarian events of British Global Underground, Cream and Renaissance club nights, Kühl has long been the favourite DJ of the domestic clubbers along with Sasha, John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Anthony Pappa, etc. He plays house music with a kind of electro, tribal and progressive twist.

Beside the inland parties, Kühl receives several invitations to Romania, Poland, Slovakia, the Check Republic, Yugoslavia, The Netherlands, Switzerland, The United States of America, Spain, Italy and recently to Japan. With his first Polish and Romanian performance, he contributed to the formation and development of the local progressive scene to a great extent.

In 1998, Kühl was voted as the 4th most popular DJ in Hungary. He managed to improve his position, and in 2001 and 2002 he became the Nr.1. Nowadays he works for Fame Promotion. This company runs clubs like Pacha Budapest, Home Budapest, Dokk and the Studio. Kühl has done five mix compilations so far, the latest one is a label compilation of the legendary english label: Plastic Fantastic. In 1998,he began to deal with producing music. After the initial attempts, he created the formation: Highrollerz with his studio partner Shootie. Their EP was released at Sumsonic Recordings in 2003. He's cooperating with Dj Chriss under the guise of Ice On Fire. That cooperation means not just a studio formation,but a club night too. He has a regular weekly radio show on the internet radio www.justmusic.fm. Its called Happy Monday. He has a monthly radio show on www.tribalmixes.org Recently he is the resident and the promoter of Club Dokk's Dokk Progression night.
