The Vincent Razorbacks have existed for about five years as the
brain(dead)child of low brow artist Vince Ray. The original line up
included Lord Ford on UFO guitar and the inimitable Dave Razorback on
double bass. And THUS, the bands name came from mixing Dave RAZORBACK and VINCENT Ray.it ain't rocket science, just too many lagers and a band with no name and a first gig coming up.
Line ups came and went, usually with Lord Ford adopting a different
instrument every couple of weeks.he really is a talented chap and you
should check out his Fordy Myspace page.
Another long term contributor has been Tom Spencer, he of the Yo Yo's,
the Fast Lane Roogalators and now the Loyalties. He often steps in on
bass or guitar, another talented fellow!
The band has gigged all around the UK and played Germany, Zurich and
Dublin. The biggest thing this year has been the Motorshow, playing
four times a day for two weeks in the boiling July heat.surrounded by
stunt motorbikes and toxic clouds of burning rubber. Vince lost his
voice, found his voice and gave it away to a bag lady.
AND, if you care to look, you'll find two CD's available in all good
stores.and on the Raucous Records web site for mail order.
