Solomon

Solomon was formed in late 2003, the name comes from the Hebrew Schlomo, which is derived from the word Shalom, meaning peace. It is also Tom's second name. The Original band was called "The View" (a name kept until mid 2006). Solomon is an original and successful unsigned rock band, unlike anything you have heard before. They have spent the last 3 years playing gigs in Bournemouth and neighboring cities, They recently played the Larmer Tree Festival which was head lined by the likes of Jules Holland and Sandi Thom. They have also played a festival head lined by Bob Dylan. They have just shot a music video for Secret Garden. In Spring/Summer of 2006 Solomon gained the title of best unsigned band in Dorset by winning the "Dorset Unsigned Music Awards".
