A vision.thats how it started. It was a vision to protect music and where it was going in the I.E. Some of you would remember "blah" attempts at what one would call hardcore, what one would call screamo, and what some would call emo. From the very beginning this was the music to oppose. We knew that we could not be one of these bands that write five songs then get new members to write five more, TVV had to be more then that, more than a cast away crowd pleaser for comatose automatons. And when these bands started calling themselves "Christian" because it was popular, a line had to be drawn in the sand. Such The Vice Versa was conceived, rather than a chewed up spat out rendition of chord progressions, drum beats, lyrics, stage presence, and bass lines that had been witnessed time and time again, we strive to not bring which has already been brought to the proverbial table. We all have very similar morals and beliefs and we say and represent these beliefs in both our lyrics and on and off the stage. Many disagree with us (just take a look at our bass drum and we'll potentially lose more than half the crowd), and for that we may lose fans, but that's just who we are. And the fans who have stuck around have become that much more of a strong group of friends and supporters. So The Vice Versa has begun their uphill struggle and successfully, thus far. We will forever be true to the Inland Empire.
