OAKLAND, CA - It was an exciting evening as Exodus, Possessed, Forbidden, Heathen and many other great bands took the stage to honor Paul Baloff. But first, from Oakland it was The Venting Machine warming the stage for the big guys to follow.

The Venting Machine is a fresh take and a powerful addition to the heavy metal community. Based out of Oakland California, TVM enjoys creating powerful groove oriented metal with hints of old school rock to modern day thrash. Fans of Megadeth, Pantera, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, and Devildriver would most likely find themselves right at home listening to The Venting Machine. TVM has also been lucky enough to share the stage with some of the world's best national metal acts including Chimaira, Testament, Divine Heresy, Black Label Society and to be ranked amongst the top metal acts in the Bay Area/Nor-cal. The Venting Machine is Ben Pena (Vocals), Jeremy Von Epp (Guitar/Vocals), Luis Barillas (Bass), and Joe Tobin (Drums).
