The Tocsins

The project begins in 2007. The musical genre that’s played ranges from rock-pop to garage-alternative. During this time the band played in loads of places and also participated at the finals of the Heineken Jammin' Festival contest in 2008, where they have been selected with other 30 bands among the 2600 that had registered.
In 2008 they record a first demo and at the beginning of 2009 some 10 tracks were recorded with the aim of promoting their music in the Italian and foreign independent label circuit; and it’s precisely in England that the Tocsins are chosen by Matchbox Recordings to appear inside the compilation Stay in the box volume 3.
In 2010 a new formation is made up by Luca Durr - rhythmic guitar and voice, Hugo Fagioli - lead guitar, Phillip Lombardi – bass and Massimo Costa - drums. The four musicians participate and win at the 2010 edition of "Geometrie Sonore" in the Republic of San Marino.
The genre put forward today by the Tocsins diverges from their debuts. what comes out is an extraordinary powerful sound that will make your ass jump right off the chair!
