The Sweatshop Band

We decided to throw in the towel to pursue other interests in Dec. 2007. Thanks to all of our fans through the years! We miss you already!

The Sweatshop Band was an original band that infuses a variety of musical genres: bluegrass, rock, funk, reggae, and folk; leading to inspired jams. Throughout the band's 9-year career, they have written over seventy original tunes also squeezing in well placed covers. Combining a percussive tribal induced rhythm section with pickin' madness from the acoustic strings and far reaching keys, the Sweatshop gives you a unique but somehow familiar feel. Together with their high energy stage presence and endless variety of instruments and songs, the audience is left with no choice but to punch in their Sweatshop timecards and go to work on the dance floor!
