This is it We're done. We've finally given up.
For five years The Struggle has been, well, a struggle. A bumpy five year ride. Surgery, personal issues within the band, job-related problems and a bunch of cancelled shows. Setbacks, bad times, even worse memories.
There have been good times too, though. With shows in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, with bands like Have Heart, Bane, Ceremony, Paint it Black, Walls of Jericho, 100 Demons, Since By Man and Hand to Hand, as well as with European class acts like The Setup, Born From Pain, Malkovich, Liar, Strike First, True Colors, Justice, and many more.
We weren’t another fashionable hardcore hype destined to fade away within a year or two. Instead, we just grew more bitter, more pissed off and more raw every year. But after five years of no-bullshit hardcore, venting frustrations and personal issues through guitar chords, drum rolls and shouting, our own band name has gotten the best of us. The drummer-issues, the constant setbacks, starting over,. It has drained us as a band. So we throw in the towel.
We'd like to thank everyone for the support.Especially the people at NO MORE RECORDS for putting out our EP, The Slam Brigade, Nuns Go Riot, Teenage Lust, Daggers, Gold Kids, Strike First, Said and Done, Shredder, The Priceduifkes, Fallen, The Setup and all the other cool people we've met along the way, hung out with, gave us a place to play, partied and shared stages with.
Don't forget The Struggle.
