Welcome To Texas. The Lone star state is full of innovative entrepeneurs with an un-giving and relentless independent grind. You know some of the Major Hip Hop Moguls like Scarface, UGK and DJ Screw for inventing this hard work and dedication to the Texas rap scene. Along with other new generation Texas representers like Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, and many other Houston all stars comes another hustler to be reckoned with. Only now you'll have to head a lot more west on I-10 to find this desert star but, whos familiar with El Paso?

Now would probably be better than never to learn the name of the King Of the Southwest, Mike Corleone. Reading the name alone may have you wondering "who is this" or "here we go again" but get that out of your head! Repping a part of Texas not known as Houston, Mike Corleone has definite plans to change that with his swagger, on point delivery as well as unique none like vocals. With his fan base growing rapidly he is an obvious trendsetter. Oh did I fail to mention he's 6'7 and is a constant reminder of the late great Notorious BIG? Hence the alias "Biggie of the South "(not self proclaimed)

Growing up street savvy with a block hustle since before his teen years. Mike Corleone cites his influences as the late great Notorious B.I.G, Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, UGK, and The LOX as well as other rappers who helped King Co relate to the struggle he himself went through. Hip Hop help raise him like a 2nd father so lyrically inclined is an understatement! Try the 2nd coming!

However this is not a puff piece, Mike Corleone has a hotter than lava underground buzz opening for artists such as Lil Scrappy, UGK, Paul Wall, and Chamillionaire to name a few and set it off for crowds who knew nothing about him. Selling over 20,000 mixtapes to his name, rising numbers on his digitally distributed pre-album The Potency Demonstration and working with major southern DJs. Mike Corleone will have the streets on lock!

In addition to Mike Corleone's success in El Paso and surrounding cities in the Southwest region, the rapper is taking his brand global. With the successful release of his " Str8 Drop" mixtape hosted by mega DJ Smallz, the man behind the famous "Southern Smoke and rappers like Plies, Rick Ross, etc, Mike Corleone has garnered over 150,000 downloads from fans all over the world on major mixtape websites including datpiff, live mixtapes, rap basement etc.
His social networking presence boasts a staggering total of over 60,000 active fans. They bombard the rapper with messages and requests on a daily basis, pushing the total traffic on his Myspace close to 10 million. And if you don't already know who Mike Corleone is there is over a 2 million google searches that will point you to his direction.

2010 is the year of Mike Corleone! The rapper is working on releasing a mixtape every other month. These mixtapes will feature dj's from around the world that have already submitted their interests to get King Co's king kong bars on their production. The rapper has been featured on several nationally released projects – most recently, he was asked to appear on the Triple C's Dj Killa K & Young Breed" mixtape.

Mike is no stranger to the big leagues. Having already worked with top producers from around the world Kids with Machine Guns, Max Methods & more, the rapper is dead set on taking the city of El Paso to your "hood". Fresh out the studio with his new single "Grind n Party" produced by Grand Hustle's Knucklehead (Yung La, Young Dro, J Futuristic etc) and his dj's anthem "Work" produced by Swiffy Beats, Mike Corleone will make noise in 2010!
