The Straight 8s have been delivering their combustible blend of high-octane rock-a-billy music for over a decade. Based in Chapel Hill, NC the band has performed countless shows throughout the Southeast, birthplace of our beloved rock-a-billy.



Continuously in demand, the Straight 8s captivate audiences with their exceptional musicianship and dynamic stage presence. The band has released two full-length records and has been featured on several compilations.



In addition to performing at regional top-tier music venues, festivals, restaurants, honky-tonks, and private engagements their music has also been featured on radio programs in the US, Canada, UK, and the Netherlands.

Never Return to Me starts you off with a beautiful instrumental to give you a little taste of what’s to come. Everything that follows is simply brain candy, finishing up with a few tunes that are instant classics. This album definitely is modern rockabilly at its finest. The 8’s make it obvious that their influences span a vast variety of music. Not sticking to one specific style is what I think makes this one great. The diversity from one song to another is truly impressive. I can’t wait to hear what is next out of these guys; it’s almost guaranteed to rock your socks off. Get your hands on it…
