The Starlite Wranglers

The Starlite Wranglers are a psychobilly/neo-rockabilly band from Japan. With a smooth and laid-back vocal range, singer and guitar maestro Tatsuya leads the slap-attack of Futoshi's upright bass and Shinji's pounding drums into original territory for the 'billy world. There exists a manic energy and progressive attitude within the Starlite Wranglers that sets them apart from standard rockabilly fare. However it is also noteworthy that (in contrast to a lot of psychobilly bands these days) the Starlite Wranglers do not overlook the rockabilly influence that pervaded psychobilly at the very beginning of the subculture. The Starlite Wranglers have two albums out on German label Crazy Love Records and have consistently toured Japan, Europe and America. Look for the Starlite Wranglers coming to America again!
