MUSIC REVIEW - THE SOPHIES



Oh those melodies! From the first song "Please Oh My Baby" I fell in

love with The Sophies melodies and captivating songwriting. This first

song, falshbacks to the songwriting prowess of Three Dog Night combined

with the more complex melodies of Sqeueeze's Pulling Muscles form a

Shell formed a very listenable swaying rock and roll hit.



Each song however brings its own party because "BoogoieDooJam" rocks

with a rollicking blues score with hints of Robin Trower and Terry

Kath's solo and melody in "I'm a Man". Oh the guitar! You know I have a

sweet spot for a hopped up blues guitarist. Well the Sophies have one!

"Bleed 4 U" carries on the rocking blues style originating rock and

roll, this time with an early Aerosmith feel. And I thought I would

never say this but I even connect back to a little Deep Purple. Gosh I

love this music.



Do you like rock and roll? Blues? Good songwriting? These guys have a
