The Sky Is Ours

Formed in summer 2006, after several members already had collected experience in different other bands, The Sky Is Ours soon established themselves as one of the most formidable forces western Austria heavy music had ever seen. The band unites the classic Gothenburg style with the intensity and neck-braking grooves of modern hardcore. Brutal riffs meet sweet melodies and a shot of melancholy. A five- piece of endless power and understated charisma, The Sky Is Ours created a huge wave of rapture with their ravishing self-recorded first output “We Start The End” in late 2007.



The Sky Is Ours already shared the stage with artists like Neaera, Sepultura, Terror, The Sorrow, Misery Speaks, In Slumber and more, and gathered a respectable fanbase in and around their area. In 2008 the quintet will set sails to hit the studio again, to record their hopefully awaited next studio output!
