The Thesis

We are the The Thesis.

The Thesis started out as an ultimate frisbee team. They made it to the final of the extreme ultimate frisbee championships held in Zurich(somewhere in Europe). In the finals team mate Andrew Dunn's liver failed and he could never play frisbee again. Not wanting to break up the team, The Thesis decided to take another path and began playing music. Technically we have been together since Nov of 2005. Many members have come and gone, but it was really in June 2006 when we came together . In June 2006 we got most of the cast (7 of 8), and played our first show at St Francis for the Andrew Donellan benefit. Probably the best kick off ever. Are final memeber to join would be Josh Cook (8 of 8). He joined in late February of 2007, just in time to be announced by and play with the rest of the band on KXCI 91.3. But basically we've been practicing and practicing and finally people have heard our music through shows, myspace, demos, and the radio. We've played with such acts as The Goodbye Kiss, Antlerand, Captain Squegee & The Soap Suds and everyone's favorite Kool Shades. We're all over the place but we mainly try to stay in the genra of rock. We all love to jam, hang out, and just have fun with our music, cause it is all about the music. We hope we get you through your day.

11/04/07 NEW SONGS! We finally recorded some new material. Expect more at our shows. Once again thank you to Nathan S. and LoveLand, you've out done yourself. We'll be submitting the tracks into the battle of the bands. Enjoy. 12/20/07 The Thesis is a contestant in The fifth-annual Arizona Daily Star Battle of the Bands (2008). We will be playing in both the preshow (01/13/08, 11AM at the TCC.) and the actual battle (02/08/08 6:30 pm at the Rialto.) Please come out and support.
