The Satellite

Late in 2006, Ruben (drums) and Jonathan (guitar) started

making instrumental music. After several rehearsals, they decide

to form a band and look for another guitar. Jonathan meets Italo

with whom he shared his musical taste, and they started composing

the first songs, experimenting and fusing all kinds of sounds and

arrangements without limiting themselves to one style only. After several months of composing, playing live and testing different musicians and instruments, the band settles down with a third guitar. Late in 2007

an old friend of the band, Gonzalo (former Metamorphosis), joins them

and stays as part of the band. The band is currently composing more

musical pieces, looking forward to making a debut album which, they hope

will come out very soon.

A finales de 2006, Ruben (bateria) y Jonathan (guitarra) se juntan

para hacer musica instrumental. Luego de varios ensayos deciden

formar la banda y buscar otra guitarra. Jonathan conoce a Italo

con quien compartia gusto musical, comienzan hacer las primeras canciones, fusionando y experimentando todo tipo de sonidos y arreglos

sin encasillarse en un solo estilo. Luego de varios meses de componer

tocar y probar diferentes musicos e instrumentos, la banda se consolida

con la incorporacion de una tercera guitarra. A finales del 2007, surge la propuesta de tocar con un viejo amigo, Gonzalo Lopez (ex-Metamorphosis), quedando asi como parte de la banda. Actualmente la banda está

componiendo mas piezas con miras a realizar una primera produccion

que muy pronto saldra a la luz.
