THE ROTTEN PICKLES

Tout à commencé le 28 avril 2007, après un concert de covers punk rock. Les quatres membres ont décidé de devenir sérieux en tant que groupe et de composer leurs propres chansons. Après plusieurs tentatives infructueuses pour trouver un nom, "The Rotten Pickles" fit finalement l'unanimité. Quelques semaines plus tard, une première composition originale, "A Bad Idea", fut enregistré dans le sous-sol d'un ami. Le 18 septembre 2007 parut "PickleZilla!", qui contient 6 chansons du groupe. Le groupe fût très actif sur la scène punk rock underground et a donné plusieurs spectacles avec d'excellents groupes tels VULGAIRES MACHINS, GUERILLA POUBELLE, SUBB, VIVA LA RESISTANCE, FIFTY STARS ANGER, STILL BLIND, HI JACK!, SICK END, THE DIRTY 30s, CAPTAIN FINGER et plusieurs autres. Malheureusement, The Rotten Pickles ont décidé d'un commun accord de donner leur dernier spectacle, qui a eu lieu le 7 novembre 2008 au Collège Lionel-Groulx, avec les groupes The Hellcrofters et Sick End. Les quatre membres continuent toutefois de faire de la musique dans différents projets.

THE ROTTEN PICKLES
APRIL 28TH, 2007 - NOVEMBER 7TH, 2008
Everything started on April 28, 2007 after a punk rock covers show that the band (that wasn't one at the time) was giving. The four members then decided to be serious as a band and to start writting their own songs. After trying out a few names that were finally not that good, 'The Rotten Pickles' was finally chosen. A couple of weeks later, their very first song 'A Bad Idea' was recorded in a friend's basement. On September 18, 2007 the band's EP 'PickleZilla!' came out. Since that day The Rotten Pickles had been very active on the underground punk rock scene and had played with some amazing bands, such as VULGAIRES MACHINS, GUERILLA POUBELLE, SUBB, VIVA LA RESISTANCE, FIFTY STARS ANGER, STILL BLIND, HI JACK!, SICK END, THE DIRTY 30s, CAPTAIN FINGER and many others. Unfortunately, The Rotten Pickles decided to call it quits and gave their very last show on November 7th, 2008 at Collège Lionel-Groulx, with The Hellcrofters and Sick End. The four members are now putting their efforts in differents music projects.
