I have NO business dealings with the band, I am just a

long time fan who has been lucky enough to come into contact with people

involved through the years and to have become friendly with a couple of founding

band members.



The Rockets were formed back in 1972 by John Badanjek and Jim McCarty (Ex-Mitch

Ryder & The Detroit Wheels), The

Rockets released five studio albums and one live album between 1977 and 1983.

John Badanjek managed lead vocals from the drum kit early on. The pair were

later joined by slide and rhythm guitarist Dennis Robbins, bassist John Fraga,

and one time Amboy Dukes vocalist David Gilbert. This became the original line

up recording 1977's Love Transfusion.
