THE TRUTH ABOUT FRED LANE:



Fred Lane was the singing alter ego for dada sculptor T.R. Reed. He made 3 albums in the 70's and early 80's, and was set to release a 4th, Ice Pick To The Moon, which never materialized. Now he does his sculptures full time and tours art shows in the south selling them. He does really strange and wonderful whirligig-creature sculptures like these:



I wrote him a letter about 10 years ago and received a hilarious letter back written on a napkin, with a catalog of his sculptures. I am sorry to anyone who thought this was really Fred Lane doing this page. I basically just wanted to have his pretty face on my own page, but wow. He actually has some fans out there. Anyway.
