T.R.E

Hailin from the Eastside of San Antonio T.R.E. started his rap career at the early age of 11. He first burst onto the scene by participating in various freestyle battles at local teen clubs, sometimes winning upwards of $250. While this exposure gave him a name and local following, the battles also helped to sharpen his skills and presence on the mic. In 2006 T.R.E sought to take his burgeoning career in music to another level by releasing mixtapes to the streets. What followed was It Goes Down Vol. 1. While finding moderate success, T.R.E. soon found himself in trouble with the law. He would end up serving 4 months in a bexar county jail and see his buzz dwindle down to a murmur. While incarcerated he continued to write and soon after his release he began recording his City Is Mine mixtape. While reestablishing his buzz and prepping for the release of his new mixtape, T.R.E. found himself in jail again. This time a week before his release date because of a parole violation. He would serve another 3 months and again see his buzz take a hit. Now since his release he's released a number of songs and a mixtape via myspace. With 2010 upon us, he is looking to establish 010 as thee year to solidify his name locally and beyond the city limits. So be on the look out for new mixtapes and songs on a consistent basis from one of Countdown City's brightest stars.
