Infinity

Infinity got his start in the rap game at the age of 15. Born and raised in the East Side of Saint Paul, he derived his inspiration from those surroundings. With the help of his high school friends and a friends basement, he started pushing out demo tapes with his group called Infinity. Despite the low quality of these early recordings, they already showed his unique style and laid back flow that have become his trademark. By age 16 the group had separated and gone their own ways. Infinitys drive and love for music however, didnt waiver. After the breakup he kept the name Infinity for himself and immersed himself in the game. Now it was time to record in a real studio. In search of higher quality recording he found the basement studios of Van Kool and Kingpin. By chance he met up with a transplanted emcee from Cali who went by the name Serious. The two hit it off immediately and decided to record together. That subsequent release was titled Generation Complex. Only 100 copies of the album were pressed but it was his first taste of professional recording and he wanted more. At 18 he got that next chance and recorded Elevation. That record started to make him a household name in Saint Paul. He stepped up his stage performance to an almost unmatched level and the fans seemed to be taking notice. At only 20 he has released a professionally recorded album and won the 2nd hip hop battles at the Rock Nightclub. He has also shared the stage with national recording artists,Obie Trice, Bizzare of D12,Afroman, Rehab, 2 Live Crew, Vanilla Ice, Hed Pe, Grave Plott and Tech N9ne. His hard work is starting to pay off and generate a buzz. The Nite Times is quoted as saying, Every time I see him perform he has the crowds full attention. He always puts on a good show and is always setting the mark higher than before. Stone Roller Magazine said Infinity murdered the mic for 30min. That is all in the past. In 2008 Infinity linked up with Hustle (well known in the local scene as CEO of StreetSound Ent) After several studio sessions they decided it was time for Infinity to Join the Ranks of SSE. Within days it was made official.
