"The Radio Fix plays a unique and refreshing breed of rock and roll. Their songs are really well written. They are simple but always interesting."
-Cody Bonnette, As Cities Burn
While the great state of Tennessee is notorious for playing host to some of country music's most popular and legendary
artists, listeners are discovering a fresh wave of sound brewing in the eastern mountains of the Volunteer state. Throughout
the industry, The Radio Fix are creating a buzz with music in the vein of Jimmy Eat World, Brand New and Foo Fighters fueled
by honest, inspiring lyrics, crunching guitars, solid rhythms, and melodies that follow. In the final month of 2005, the
band released their debut EP "Of Hyacinth and Jasmine", produced by Matt Goldman (Cartel, As Cities Burn, Copeland). The EP
was acclaimed by many critics, including DrivenFarOff.com, who rated the release 9 out of 10, and challenged its readers
to "keep an eye on this band, because they should have labels chasing after them soon enough." In 2006, the band went on to
work with Nashville-based producer Steve Wilson (Jonezetta, Leeland, Juliana Theory) on what would later be known as "The
Flickerlight Sessions." In support of all this, the band has shared the stage with many up and coming artists that include
Copeland, Cartel, As Cities Burn, Jonezetta, Kids In the Way, Lovedrug, Chasing Victory, Days Away, as well as performing
on the Vans Warped Tour.
On October 16, 2007, The Radio Fix will release a Split EP with The Flood Memoirs on Real Hope Records. The songs will show
a growth and reinvention of a band that will continue to branch out musically. The coming year will consist of
steady touring and just as importantly--writing. It is the band's goal to craft songs that inspire and promote feeling.
The band encourages you to take action and help spread the word on a hard-working group of artists striving to bring back
color into a graying world.
