penis genius was formed in 2001 in seattle as a result of the anti globalization scene there. the group began playing gigs at local watering holes before being discovered by aa recordings (a wholly owned subsidiary of bertlesmann ag). now signed, penis genius has been featured as a musical guest on the jay leno show, as well as on countless alternative rock stations across the country. request their latest single "eastern european girls", on your local alterative rock station.

benjamin vanderford: vox



benjamin is better known as the media critic who did the iraqi beheading hoax to spotlight the systemic flaws in the united states media industrial complex. Now benjamin has applied his deviant artistry to the rock music world, writing under the nom de guerre "penis genius"

jess vickery: guitar



jess vickery is an internationally renowned computer animator and guitar player for penis genius. prior to joining the band, jess was part of the computer animation team which rendered the fake moon landings.

ashley vanderford: bass



Ashley Vanderford is an artist and musician, and brother of Ben Vanderford. She previously played with the Oakland-based band As April Turns to May, but has now joined her brother in his musical march to glory. FUCK YEAH I LOVE ASHLEY SHE'S AWESOME WOOO.

Matt is a musician, technician and performance artist who also performs with Tensegrity Nine, Sputterdoll, Evil Empire Comedy and a bunch of other people off and on. He also does theater work sometimes I think. He writes stuff and. uh. plays video games.
