Founded above a rundown Northeast Minneapolis warehouse, Panel of Experts (Po’X) cut across style to deliver a razor sharp sound and play with a gritty urgency shown in songs like “Broken Glass”, “Double Crossed”, and “Broke Again”. Combining the best of classic punk rock, Stax soul, a passion for Jamaican rocksteady, ska, and reggae, with New Orleans grind, you’ll get an idea of what’s behind the rock cocktail (rocktail?!) that is Panel of Experts. Po’X are a regular fixture on the local music scene, ready to deliver a rip-roaring show. With Rob Sells on vocals and guitar, the other degenerates include: Adam Fesenmaier- also from Rob's other band The Loose Rails, as well as The Conquerors and The Floorshakers, as the master beater. Johnny Hodges- also of The Loose Rails and Floorshakers, brings some thumpin' Tuff Gong bass. And finishing off the Po'X sound are Eric Johnson on trombone and Gus Sandberg on tenor sax, two rocksteady gents who are known in the Twin Cities for playing in 3 Minute Hero, the Jack Brass Band, and the Secondhand Ska Kings.
