Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in Myspace
Shiny-faced crack troops of light entertainment unafraid to remind the world that 'pop' is a dirty word. Strange, sexy, cinematic and surreal from the most unfashionable town in the UK. Middlesbrough's The Oxfam Glamour Models
received tasty press and all round rave reviews for the single ‘Kick out the Grams’ (Playlouder top 50 of 2007, Artrocker top 50 of 2007, NME single of the week) released on London imprint Marquis Cha Cha. The Oxfam Glamour Models followed that up with a massive tour of the UK supporting Bromheads Jacket and another single, the Jonathon Ross referencing ‘8 cans yeah’ confusing, clashing, and sometimes even on rare occasions delighting the Sheffield bands mismatched Arctic Monkeys loving fan base.
