Here is what all the Buzz is about!!! BENDAVIS was born and raised in the evergreen state of Washington. As a youngster he joined a gang and quickly became familiar with the juvenile system. A few years later, and at 17 years old, BENDAVIS decided to take a trip with some homie’s to central Cali. This two week trip turned into a three year trip on the streets of Reedley, CA. Eventually, BENDAVIS once again found himself behind bars and decided he needed to do something with his life. He heard a celly rappen’ and he dropped some rhymes about his hometown, but did not take it seriously.

In April of the year 2000, after doing six months, he was released and with nothing but the clothes on his back BENDAVIS traveled back to Washington State. Back to the hood, back to the streets, and back to the same @%$. Once again he was in jail for gang bangin’. After his release, BENDAVIS decided he would dedicate himself to his music and get serious about it. He purchased an “instrumental cd” and began to writing raps. He first performed at a Low Rider show in Lake Chelan, WA, where he won a free style battle. He found a recording studio and recorded his first album titled “PEN TO PAPER”. BENDAVIS began selling his album on the streets.

*****************************************************************************” BENDAVIS wanted to become more involved in the producing aspect of music, and he decided to move to Phoenix, AZ to study music engineering. He completed his training and internship and began performing at local clubs and bars in Arizona. BENDAVIS self produced his next album titled “CYCLE OF VIOLENCE”, with the help of local beat makers.

Still on the grind, BENDAVIS began production on his next album titled “SURROUNDED BY DARKNESS", which is currently being sold now. This album is filled with real street stories, unique music with motivating lyrics and real life experiences. This lyricist is out to prove a point. Over the years he has began acquiring a loyal fan base which continues to grow. BENDAVIS created his own record label named “MINORITY ENTERTAINMENT (M.E.)" and has begun signing artists to his label. His focus is to represent for all of the minority while still putting it down for his hood and Washington state.
