The Noise Chapter

After the hiatus of the infamous Southern California band, Scrimmage Heroes in 2004, Frank Velasquez continued to write songs until they would reconvene. Their reunion still lies in wait. But, Frank would reunite with Scrimmage Heroes drummer Jay Smith (also with Trauma, Mercy Killers and currently Fangs On Fur) to form Venomous Pinks. The "Pinks" were a dark sounding indie rock band that delved into driving rock guitars and electronica with rotating members which included fellow Scrimmage Heroe and +44 guitarist Shane Gallagher. Due to extensive touring and demands from their other bands, the "Pinks" would find themselves on their own hiatus.This would be the birth of The Noise Chapter, or as some would say, "the re-birth of the Venomous Pinks".
The Noise Chapter are a new creation with it's own identity. A band you can't label and yet still with the songwriting influences and craftsmanship Frank stays true to form with. Melodic driving guitars, pulse of electronica, textured keyboards, and held together by virtuoso drummer and co-founder Jay Smith. The Noise Chapter releases it's debut EP, Bleaching The Ghost in April 2011.
