The Nine Orders of Angels is a five piece melodic metalcore band from Allentown, PA. They've been compared to bands such as It Dies Today, As I Lay Dying, and Underoath, while still maintaining their own unique sound. The band formed in the spring of 2002 from the ashes of two popular local bands and has developed a strong following all over the East Coast in the past few years. The NOOA has been touring as much as possible, and playing as many shows as they can, trying to extend their fanbase throughout the United States.

After numerous lineup changes and other setbacks, the NOOA finally found a solid lineup in the Fall of 2004 with the addition of Matt Cullin on guitar and Sean Johnstone on vocals. Shortly after the new lineup was formed, the band signed to United Edge Records; they spent the next year writing their debut full length. While the NOOA was in the studio, the label went out of business; leaving them to fund the CD by themselves. The band spent the next few months preparing to fund and release the full length until Prototype Media approached them with an offer. In the winter of 2005, the NOOA became Prototype Media's first band but the relationship ended a few months later after both parties decided it would be best for the NOOA to release the CD themselves. Despite all the band's setbacks, they managed to push forward to release their long awaited full length in July 2007 and still plan on playing music until they feel they have nothing left to offer their fans.
