Native Sons

Formed in 1996 todays present band is a 7 peice collection of Aotearoa musos.Although hiphop was the 1st genre that brought Native Sons though they have also added a mix up of other genres over the 10+ years.Native Sons self titled EP was released in Oct/Sep 2010 with the North meets South tour.Frontman and last original member from 1996 Marc Taukiri says "Native Sons has been 1 of the longest surviving bands in Hamilton that is still gigging week in and week out aswell as playing many festivals and private gigs around Aotearoa". There is also family/whanau connections between band members which potrays in there musical harmonys and melody lines.
