The Message of the Prince
is the project of Christos Galanopoulos and Evgenios Voulgaris . Evgenios is a music teacher, in the Municipal Conservatory of Patras, and in the Department of Popular and Traditional Music (Epirus Technological Institute), specialist in eastern tranditional instruments like oud, bowed tanbur, saz, canoon, with deep knowledge of Byzantine music, and since 1995 he is the leading mandolinist of the orchestra of Colours.In April 2000 he founded the ensemble Romioi, which has won excellent critics for its performances of Ottoman Music. In 2004 he made the album 'Wanderings' with the singer Dora Petridi. His compositions include music for theatre ('The History of a captive','Stahomazohtra', Beckett's 'End game', 'Papissa Ioanna') .

Christos is a musician and composer with many participations in music groups in the past.
in 1991 he is as a member of the band Lexeme in their debut album.
in 1992 releases his first personal album
''A bird's eye view'' (Palmos -BMG).
In 1996 he participates in the collection cd ''Local Heroes'' of Pop & Rock music magazine with 3 songs.
In 1999 he releases the concept album ''Fairytales from '' (Lazy dog) which has won excellent critics by the press and music sites.
Music network Avopolis put ''Fairytales'' among the top 10 greek albums for the 90's decade.
Christos playsall guitars , keyboards and bass of the 'Prince' album. He is also the sound engineer - producer of the album, as he has been in the past for many artists 's works.
'The Message of the Prince' was introduced to the public as a theatrical live on January 25 2005 at the Municipal and regional theatre of Patra, with narrated words and thoughts of poet Dionyssis Karatzas, who was inspired by this music.
