THE MELOVSKYS - Electro Punk GhettoTech band from Mexico City. We invite you to listen to their own blend of blazing, Atari-drenched Electro with a venomous splash of downtown Punk Rock. The Melovskys have earned their dues by hitting every dingy, dirty, and dicey club in the city of Mexico and a string of performances in Peru and Los Angeles, bringing press, but most importantly, an ever-growing audience of fans ready and willing to accept a International band that doesn't compromise and doesn't indulge in the idea that music from Latin-America needs to sound Salsa, Reggaeton or Tropical in order to succeed. The group, which features a drummer DR PSYCHO, two guitarists DR PANIC (also Composer and Vocalist) and DR HELL (who also plays Synth and Theremin live), and a VJ DR TERROR, is finalizing a CD along with a Remix album featuring Latin alternative artists Los Concorde (members of Fobia, La Ley, la Lupita and Platilina Mosh), DLD, Los Daniels, The Pinker Tones, Tanke and Moenia's singer side project: Equivocal, all on Dr Panic's own label 'Robot Rock Records'. For a taste of what The Melovskys have been up to, both Tip Records (UK) and Diablito Records (Mexico) have compilations featuring the band's music and soon 10 Kilo Records (UK) will drop a double single early 2011.
