Ryan Balthrop and Keith Williams Jr. Have performed almost 300 shows a year since late 2002 as the acoustic duo, Loose Cannons (LC) www.loosecannons.biz The two have travelled extensively thru the southeast and toured the Virgin Islands several times.

Pulling from multiple genres, they have created a blend of music that has been described as beachbilly soul meets southern goth. While Balthrop's background is rooted In Alabama he also pulls from his years living in St. John in the Virgin Islands. His songs possess a sometimes comedic, sometimes deadly serious thought provoking essence to them. In turn,Williams's guitar stylings pull from his days in Memphis playing blues on Beale St. and studying Jazz at the University of Tennessee Memphis.

The LowDown ThrowDown (The LDTD) www.thelowdownthrowdown.com Enlisting the energy and dynamic abilities of Marc Hendrix on bass, and Tyler Goodwin on drums, the band has enjoyed some early success appearing in some of the family style grassroots music festivals that are popping up everywhere down south. They are also partnered in producing their own local homegrown festival in the Mobile area, Deep South Music Festival www.myspace.com/deepsouthmusicfestival just getting started, now in it's second year.

As for recordings, a Live compilation is in the works, followed shorty thereafter by a full studio album due out December 12th 2012 Just nine days before the world is supposed to end. Stay tuned for more exciting news about LDTD !
