The Lava Rats

The Lava Rats have been rocking the Bay Area's collective ass for over five years now. We play fast and loud, and wear really neat matching ties onstage. There is yet another CD in the works, so keep your eyes peeled.



--Bill never breaks guitar strings, because he's that good. He plays a Mosrite through a Dual Showman; it's loud, but he wouldn't have it any other way.



--Rodd doesn't break bass strings because he's ever so suave, and breaking bass strings is "bush." He plays a P-bass through an GK Backline 600 head and an SWR 4x10 cab. It's more than loud enough to keep up with Bill's gear.



--Taylor ALWAYS breaks drumsticks, because he's that good. He plays an Ayotte drum kit. He's the reason the rest of the Rats have big loud amps.
