The Last Waltz

Singer/songwriter Eric Vorel formed the band The Last Waltz in 2006 to perform in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Their indie rock music finds inspiration in everyday situations and is driven by simplistic melodies, with influences like Sam Cook, The Smoking Popes and old time soul. The Last Waltz is comprised of Eric Vorel (lead vocals and guitar), Dan Musa (bass guitar), Lee Fritz (drums and back up vocals) and Ted Eliason (back up vocals and guitar); this is a combination of former members of the bands Back Drop and RoyG.Biv. In the past four years Eric Vorel has covered musical ground by composing three songs for MTV reality shows that air in the U.S. as well as overseas. Over the last ten years, Eric Vorel has toured and performed with close friends/bands: The Scissors, The Plain White T's, Showoff, Lucky Boys Confusion, Spitalfield, The Fold and Fall Out Boy.
