The Kurtiz Band es una banda INDIE /ROCK formada oficialmente en el 2007; integrada por los hermanos Kurtiz y otros músicos amigos "Mauro O" y "Paloma", que cuentan con los mismos gustos e influencias musicales.
El grupo se consolida fuertemente gracias a las influencias y sinergia entre los miembros, con canciones frescas, planas, emotivas, llenas de energía y color grisáceo, marcadas por una ligera tendencia al rock británico, post-punk, new wave, y la electrónica de los 70's.
A finales del 2008 la banda entra a grabar su primera producción discográfica en Nativo Records, bajo la Co-producción de la banda y Magio. El nuevo álbum titulado THE KURTIZ BAND está disponible.

The Kurtiz Band is an indie/rock outfit from Colombia, formed in 2007. The Kurtiz brothers and others musicians friends make up the band.
Thanks to shared musical tastes and influences, there is a near-telepathic understanding within the Kurtiz Band. The result: songs which simply state, charged with energy yet tinged in a melancholy of sepias and greys. Songs which uplift, recalling the best of British rock, the post-punk scene, new-wave and 70's electronic.
