The Junktones

The Junktones are a true Rock'n'Roll Punkband founded in late 2006.
Playing shows for as many fans as possible is the main goal of the band because this is what Rock'n'Roll is all about: Live music!
The raw sound and energy you see on stage has been transported to a 10 track album that has been available for quite a while now.
Don't expect any gimmicks or tricks from The Junktones. Loud, simple and fun music is all you are going to get, live and on cd.
The second full length CD titled: "Your Boyfriend's An Asshole" features 14 new and re-recorded tracks. Expect funny lyrics and a good grove with Rock'n'Roll added on top. The perfect mix for a fun listen.
The CD was released in April of 2008 as a self produced Album with the help of our friend and Roadie Dan "Z" Zatorski and is available for $10 or EUR 8 and comes with 2 free stickers.
You can also buy our music right here on myspace using the little interface we have put up. It's not much and we know the real CD is a lot better but at least you can feed your mp3 players, iPods and other fancy devices with our music and enjoy it everywhere!
With the unfortunate absence of Tony Baloney the development of the band came to a stop and we had to regroup to keep everything moving. Getting a new guitarist and singer was a tough assignment but we found a great replacement. His name is Sean, no not Connery, and after Tony's unexpected return we decided to keep him in the band as a new found friend and guitarist/singer.
The days as a trio are over. The Junktones continue with 4 people and even more power and even more Rock'n'Roll than you can handle!
The upcoming release "American Paranoia" is in the works and the music has been recorded! Please read our blog,and visit us on Facebook to be up to date with the release. We will also feature some pre-release tracks here as well as the cover art work. There is no set release date yet but we will let you know in time so you can save some money for buying our CD. :-)
