Their Hearts Were Full of Spring were never here. You just imagined them. You have been the victim of a cruel hoax, a dangerous conspiracy, a secret experiment. Via the media of radio, television, the internet and ESP communication, the masterminds behind this experiment planted the seeds of suggestion in your mind and let them grow.
They influenced your dreams, and once they'd grown into fully formed images - sights and sounds and false memories - your dreams were harvested while you slept: electro-magnetic waves filtered through fiendishly complex machinery, captured on magnetic tape and rendered as stereo sound.
Now that the first stage of the experiment is complete you will have noticed that Their Hearts Were Full of Spring seem to have disappeared. Should you ever hear of them again (which you may) you will know that the second stage has begun. In the meantime, we have arranged for the results of stage one - the album How I Wasted My Youth, and all the other recordings which were captured during this time (including one which has never previously been heard) - to be made available to you for free from Marketstall Records' website. These songs will help with any feelings of loss or abandonment you may be experiencing at this time.
