Meet “The I Drive”, a four piece rock group from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which originally formed in North Carolina in 2007 under the name The International Drive. Later that year, The International Drive released their debut EP “Finish What You Started” on Disco Technology Records with worldwide distribution. Shortly after the release of the band’s debut album, their record label folded leaving the band to again start from scratch. Their hard work and dedication landed them a spot in Alternative Press and on the front page of Purevolume.com.

After a relentless touring schedule promoting the EP, including shows supporting, Boys Like Girls, Armor For Sleep, and Four Year Strong, their single “So Call It Off” caught the ears of producers Matthew Gerrard (Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson, Hannah Montana) and Robbie Nevil (Smash Mouth, High School Musical, Destiny’s Child) who then invited the band to join them at their Los Angeles recording studio, Track Record Recording Studios (The Offspring, Aerosmith, Pink, Goo Goo Dolls) to record their yet to be released follow-up.
