From Cagliari, south coast of Sardinia, Italy, the Hangee V started out in 2003 as a five piece band (hence their name) with the stated purpose to playin their favourite music, a terryfying mix of obscure instrumental surf and garage punk in the Diggin Out and Back from the Grave style and have into their influences also modern bands like Finks,Mummies, Satans Pilgrims, Witch Doctors, Gruesomes.
In these years they had a lot of gigs around Italy and the rest of Europe, in clubs and festivals like Festival Beat,Teenage Attack Festival, Booze Party, Surferjoe Summer Festival, Go Sinner Go, Primitive Festival and some more.
After several changes in the lineup nowadays they are 4: Piergiorgio, voice and guitar, Marcello guitar and organ, Alessandra on drums, and Riccardo on bass.
They put up 2 lps for the label For Monsters Records (S/T and Unpleasantly Yours), joined to compilations like Lost in Tyme, Misty Lane, Kreepsville's, Sazanami Beat comp and recently a 7'' on Groovie Records!
