“Bein’ Bad” never looks as good as when The Handsome Devils take the stage. San Diego natives Bryan Kelly (Vocals/guitar), Jake Ferrin (Upright bass), and Frank Winfield (drums) have created the ultimate rockabilly/blues/punk fusion sound. As handsome as these boys are, the roots for their name are a little less glamorous. The band is named after a horse that happened to be racing at the Del Mar race track the day of their first practice. It’s an odd story for a band with little more affiliation with racing other than hoping to race towards a city near you. For now The Handsome Devils continue to hook audiences with their undeniable stage presence and catchy tunes. Relatable as an old friend, yet as mysterious as devils can be, The Handsome Devils never leave audience members without a hook perpetually circulating in their heads. Danceable and upbeat, a night with The Handsome Devils will always be hot as hell.
