The Fuel

The Fuel are a four piece Indie Rock band originaly formed
in Bristol in August 2007. They are impressing audiences around the UK with their high energy live dynamic performances. The Fuel’s music can best be described as dance infused indie rock. They have a sound that is now unmistakeably their own and with a wealthof diverse and imaginative material, are poised to record their first album.
After watching The Fuel play at Bristol’s Colston Hall Michael Eavis expressed:
“The last time a young band made such an impact on me was the first time I saw Oasis play live”.
Highlights of their first year included playing Bristol’s O2 Acadamy main stage, Gloucester Guildhall and an industry showcase for SONY BMG. Summer festival slots for Westons live and unsigned and a headlining slot at Youth4YouthFestival 2008 showed The Fuel’s ability to play a big stage. After winning a major regional competition, at The Colston Hall, The Fuel were chosen by Michael Eavis himself to play at Glastonbury Festival 2009, and played the BBC’s Introducing Stage. The Fuel were main support for Fightstar this year and also kicked off launch 787 at the Camden Roundhouse In London.
To enjoy them at their best they must really be seen live.
