The Four Horsemen Bio

(Written by The Metal Pete & Rich H.)

We started this project after seeing an all tribute band show at the Scene Pavillion called the Monster of Rock. Rich Hattery & I decided that we had the passion & the ability needed to execute Metallica music. We needed axemen. So, at the time Rich & I were in a cover band with Tim Morgan. We approached him & he responded with a resounding "YES!". Finally, we needed the right James. Enter Rich Kesseg. Rich Hattery & I worked with him in a band called Concrete Sledge. He was doing an original project at the time called JUNKBONE. He seemed jazzed to do this as an amazing side project. We started rehearsing in September 2004. We debuted at the Carriage House in Louisville, OH in January 2005. 2005 also saw the band travel to Marion, Salem, Erie, Geneva on the Lake, Canton, Alliance, and Louisville. We headlined the Rock 107 Factory of Terror event. 2006 took us to Pittsburgh, Akron, and North Canton.

2007 was an "off" year due to circumstances beyond our collective control. This would also signal the end of a great run with Rich Kesseg, as he decided to leave the band. Rich K's contribution was critical to the early success of The Four Horsemen.

We added the talented Sean Perry in 2008. He has the combination of skill and talent that it takes to pull off an uncanny James Hetfield. He was also the founding member of ANTITHESIS (Massacre Records - Germany) and stayed with them for nearly 9 years during which time they released 2 full length albums and nearly finished a 3rd. He was also the lead singer of the Alice In Chains tribute THEM BONES for 2+yrs. Currently he also sings for Tung N Groove.

2009 would prove to be our last year with Tim Morgan. Tim decided to leave the band in December to pursue other musical interests. His talent and precision will be missed and we wish him the best.

Enter Mikey B. Lial on lead guitar in January of 2010. Mikey came down to Canton from Sandusky for a rehearsal/try-out and nailed virutally every song on our set list in just one afternoon. His enthusiasm for the project as well as his great playing ability landed him the spot. Please welcome Mikey to The Four Horsemen. You can also catch him in a band called Neon Black.

The band enters 2010 with the same mission: To bring the best tribute of Metallica to as many Metallica fans as possible, with massive enthusiasm & precision! We are open for booking opportunities in the 2 - 2.5 hour driving range from Canton. Please contact us through MySpace or at e-mail addy FourHorsemenMetal@yahoo.com.
