The Day

The Day began as a recording project during the Summer of 2007 while lead vocalist, Adam Mariucci was in the process of constructing a better, more professional sounding home studio in the bay area of Northern California. It was during that Summer, and into the Fall of 2007, when friends Ryan Rosendin and Jonny Fernandez spent much time helping to develop the sound and character of the music which soon they labeled under the title "The Day." It wasn't until connecting with younger brother Stephen Mariucci who was away in college in order to finish the writing and recording process, that their first ep "Something about Feeling" was in fact able to be sent off for mastering, and released in the Spring of 2008.
The Day changed their band name to The Relay Company in early 2008, and has since released new material on their respected media outlets (iTunes,Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, YouTube.com/TheRelayCompany)
Adam and Stephen Mariucci, who are primarily responsible for all songwriting and recording, are the only original members (founders) who remain in The Relay Company along side new musicians.
