A contagious blend of "pop meets pretty." That is what you get when your ears first meet The City Asleep. With music complimented by pulsing basslines, epic guitar riffs and backbone drumming, their songs are driven by the eighty-eight keys of a piano and infectious vocal melodies that will stick for days.



These Wisconsin boys are fronted by the voice of the band, Matty Dorschner, with Sam Schreiber on bass, Zach Zblewski on guitar and Tom Jacobs on drums. Having grown up in Wisconsin, they draw inspiration from all four seasons, which not everyone gets to experience. They take in everything from snowy streets to sunny beaches. From trees losing leaves to flowers blooming. From the lights and sounds of the city to the lights and silence of starry night skies. The beauty of the midwestern life is captured, only to be released as the sounds of The City Asleep.



After mere months of formation, in early 2007, the four have been making noise around the nation. They've been meeting new friends and gaining attention from music lovers all around. With plans of soon travelling the world, armed with only passion and their instruments, they'll be setting the mood and singing you to sleep in no time.
